Tania Beth Photography bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog!

My name is Tania, but my middle name isn't Beth. I thought Elizabeth sounded like a mouthful when you added Photography to it, so I shortened it to Beth. That's ok, right? I married my husband in October 2008. He is my other half and I am so thankful for him and that he supports me in all of my endeavors.

I have had a passion for photography for a long time. I thoroughly enjoy stalking photography blogs on a regular basis. I begged my husband to let me buy a DSLR so that I could have a hobby. The minute I got that camera in my hand, I knew that it was no longer going to be a hobby. I had ignited a flame, and it's quickly growing.

I love being able to capture moments and memories with a photograph. I love being able to look back at images and remember back to that time. I hope that you will let me capture your moments and your memories for you to treasure also.

Senior 2011: Rachel + Greg

Rachel and Greg are Seniors at Hononegah High School.  They also happen to be my little brother and sister.  I cannot believe that they are Seniors this year.  Where did the time go?

Amazingly, I didn’t shed any tears during their session.  I’m not making any promises about their graduation day, however.

Spring Special

Book a session in March or April, and receive half off of your session fee!!!

Family: Josh + Amanda + Bailey + Tyson

Josh and Amanda are another set of friends of ours.  They will be welcoming a baby boy in June, so they wanted some photos taken while it is still just them and the dogs.

Bailey and Tyson are such good dogs.  They almost make me want a dog.  Almost.  I definitely think that it’s tougher shooting with animals than it is with children.

They also really liked the location that we went to with Adam + Nicole, so we visited the same park.

I’m looking forward to their next session, which will be a maternity session. Yay for baby bumps!

Family: Adam + Nicole + Austin + Brayden

Adam and Nicole were some of the first friends of Drew’s that I met.  I still remember that day!  And I’m surprised that they let me stick around because I was a pretty bad poker player.

I pointed out to Nicole during a conversation that she didn’t really have a lot of family photos around.  Well, my hint worked and we found a time to go out and take some family photos.  I think it’s really important to have lots of family photos.

I am very lucky to be surrounded by so many forest preserves/parks, so we went to one close by and worked it out.

Practice Senior Session: Rachel

You will probably see a lot of Rachel here at TBP.  Rachel is my sister and gets to be my practice model on a lot of occasions.  We are planning on shooting her actual senior session this spring, so these are just some practice ones.
